PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – Crews with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) are making improvements to a four-mile stretch of roadway in Holmes County.

They’ll resurface State Road 2 from County Road 177 to Ten Mile Creek and also update the drainage system.

Officials said to expect daytime lane closures, a lower speed limit, and uneven lanes during paving.

The project is expected to cost $1.3 million, and it should wrap up in early 2019.
